Last week I attended an event held by @asidoc at the SOCO Design Center in Costa Mesa. It was fun to tour the showrooms and reconnect with other designers in the industry. While visiting the @annsacks_orangecounty showroom, I absolutely fell in love with this concrete tile! Designed by @kellywearstler, this tile is part of the Gem series, that Kelly states was created to “ pay homage to the revered, age old artistry required to create encaustic tiles.” The unique pattern also mirrors the nonconformity we see in nature, it’s handmade appearance creating an illusion of depth and texture.
